The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is a photo art print made from an original encaustic and shellac artwork. Colors produced with Pan Pastels and Oil Sticks are layered between beeswax and shellac at which point I use a torch to ignite the shellac and manipulate the cells to produce what you see.
