Artist's Description

This is a stairway on the side of a ruined building in the hacienda Gogorron. It was built in 1750 by Pedro Arizmendi Gogorrón whose fortune was made by mines in San Luis Potosi. It was inherited several times and grew growing to 35 000 hectares. Used in the movie Mask of Zorro and is currently a bed and breakfast.
